KARACHI: In a major counter-terrorism operation, the Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a highly dangerous terrorist affiliated with the banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), identified as Amjad alias Gohram.
According to CTD officials, the suspect was on the Red Book list of wanted terrorists and had received training in Iran in 2022. He was involved in reconnaissance of sensitive locations in Karachi and had facilitated the Jaffar Express attack plot.
Investigations further revealed his role in attacks on police in Mauripur and other terrorist activities.
The terrorist has been taken into custody for further interrogation to dismantle his network and apprehend his accomplices.
Security forces emphasized that no enemy of Pakistan can escape the state’s reach.
