ICC Names T20 World Cup 2026 Team of the Tournament

DUBAI:  The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Team of the Tournament for the T20 World Cup 2026. The squad features standout performers from across participating nations.

Pakistan’s opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan earned a place in the team. He scored two centuries and accumulated more than 300 runs during the tournament, showcasing exceptional batting skills.

The team is captained by South Africa’s all-rounder Aiden Markram. His fellow countryman, fast bowler Lungi Ngidi, also secured a spot.

India is represented by wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson, who was named the player of the tournament. He is joined by Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

England’s Will Jacks and Adil Rashid were included, along with West Indies captain Jason Holder and Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani.

The United States’ Saurabh Netravalkar completes the squad as the 12th player.

The ICC highlighted the team’s selection as recognition of consistent performances, impactful contributions, and outstanding displays throughout the T20 World Cup.
