KARACHI: Sindh Declares Public Holiday on March 11, 2026 for Youm-e-Ali (AS) in All Educational Institutions.
The government of Sindh has announced a public holiday across the province on March 11, 2026, in observance of Youm-e-Ali (AS). According to the official notification, all schools and colleges throughout Sindh will remain closed on 21 Ramadan.
No announcement regarding holidays for educational institutions has been issued in Punjab so far.
Separately, the federal government has declared spring vacations for all federal government educational institutions.
An official notification has been issued stating that federal government schools and colleges will remain closed from March 24 to March 27, 2026, and will reopen on March 30, 2026.
Officials have confirmed that the spring break has been combined with the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holidays.
