ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia has announced a four-day holiday for the private sector on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, while Pakistan is likely to observe three Eid al-Fitr holidays on March 21, 22, and 23, 2026.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources has declared Eid al-Fitr holidays for private and non-profit organizations.
fficial spokesperson Mohammed Al-Razqi announced that private and non-profit sectors will have a four-day holiday for Eid al-Fitr.
He stated that the Eid al-Fitr holidays will begin at the end of work on Wednesday, March 18 (29 Ramadan) and will continue for four days.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a forecast regarding the Eid al-Fitr moon, predicting that Eid al-Fitr is likely to fall on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
The Cabinet Division has issued a notification for public holidays and optional holidays in 2026, stating that March 21, 22, and 23, 2026, will be observed as three holidays for Eid al-Fitr.
