The tensions in the Middle East intensified after Iran carried out drone strikes in Dubai and Iraq, prompting Israel to launch retaliatory airstrikes on oil facilities in Tehran.
The Dubai Media Office confirmed that an Iranian drone struck the Marina Tower located in Dubai Marina. The collision caused a fire to break out in the building, leading to panic among residents and emergency evacuation efforts.
Meanwhile, another drone attack targeted a military facility in Iraq. The drone strike was directed at the Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, where a United States military base is located. Multiple explosions were heard in the area, and flames were seen rising near parts of the airport following the attack.
Iran continued its retaliatory operations against Israel. Iranian media outlets reported that several missiles were launched from Tehran toward different areas in Israel.
The missiles targeted multiple locations, though further details about damage or casualties have not yet been fully confirmed.
In this regard, Israel carried out strikes inside Iran, targeting key energy infrastructure. Arab media reported that Israeli forces bombed an oil depot located in the Karaj area of western Tehran.
The attack triggered a large fire, with thick smoke rising over the facility.
The latest developments highlight a significant escalation in hostilities between Iran and Israel, raising concerns about broader instability across the Middle East.
