Washington/ Moscow/ Tehran: US media outlets have claimed that Russia is indirectly assisting Iran during the ongoing war.
According to reports in American media, since the start of the conflict, Russia has been providing Iran with precise intelligence on the locations of US and Israeli military installations.
The reports allege that Russian intelligence has supplied Iranian forces with accurate coordinates of American military bases, weapons depots, and aircraft positions.
They further claim that the success of several Iranian strikes on US targets can be attributed to Russian-supplied intelligence.
Russia has not yet confirmed or denied these allegations.
Meanwhile, Iran has carried out strikes inside Iraq.
According to Al Jazeera, smoke clouds were seen rising near the offices of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Military targets were also reportedly hit in the Basra region at the location known as Burjisah.
