ISLAMABAD: Traffic arrangements have been revised for access to the Red Zone, with authorities announcing several road closures and diversions in the federal capital.
Access to the Red Zone will remain open through Margalla Road and the route via the Marriott Hotel.
All other entry points leading toward the Red Zone will remain closed.
Meanwhile, the road from Kulsum Plaza on Fazl-e-Haq Road toward China Chowk will remain closed for traffic.
Motorists have been advised to use Jinnah Avenue as an alternative route.
A traffic diversion will also be in place from Polyclinic toward Lal Quarter Chowk via Luqman Hakim Road.
Citizens have been advised to use Sadar Road as an alternate route.
Travelers moving from G-6 to F-6 have been advised to use the China Chowk underpass or proceed via Seventh Avenue toward Jinnah Avenue.
Traffic moving from Aabpara Chowk toward Serena Hotel via Suhrawardy Road will also be diverted.
Motorists coming from Club Road have been advised to use Kashmir Chowk and then proceed via Srinagar Highway to Seventh Avenue and Margalla Road.

Similarly, travellers arriving from Bhara Kahu have been advised to use Kashmir Chowk and continue through Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, and Margalla Road.
