ISLAMABAD: The execution of Pakistan Army soldiers by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is not an act of war but cold-blooded murder.
The soldiers went missing on 30–31 January 2026. From that moment, Pakistan’s Special Forces, regular Army units, aviation assets, UAVs, and intelligence agencies launched an intensive, continuous operation—tracking the abductees, narrowing their movements, and closing in across vast, rugged mountainous terrain spanning thousands of square kilometres in Balochistan.
All available resources were mobilized. Intelligence grids were fully activated, and the search never stopped.
Instead of providing proof of life, the BLA resorted to blackmail, demanding the release of proscribed terrorists and facilitators—including Mahrang Baloch and other banned individuals—in exchange for the soldiers. This was terrorism disguised as political negotiation.
Intelligence indicated the captives were being constantly relocated in difficult terrain to avoid rescue, with some unconfirmed reports suggesting possible movement toward Afghanistan. Despite exhaustive efforts, recovery was not possible.
During the pursuit and related operations, a large number of BLA terrorists were eliminated, and more than 100 were captured.
Operation Ghazab lil Haq, now in full force, is also directly avenging these abductions by targeting BLA’s master proxies and support networks.
Pakistan mourns its fallen soldiers (Shuhada) and offers deepest condolences and highest tribute to the martyrs and their grieving families.
The BLA stands fully exposed as a terrorist, inhumane, and criminal outfit.
There will be no negotiations with murderers. BLA and its backers will continue to face severe consequences. These perpetrators will be hunted relentlessly until they are eliminated. Retribution will be heavy and unrelenting.
