ISLAMABAD: upward trend in gold prices in domestic and international markets has been halted, with significant declines observed today.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold and silver prices have dropped sharply in both Pakistan and global markets.
In Pakistan:
- 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 13,900, now at Rs 549,962.
- The price per 10 grams fell by Rs 11,917, settling at Rs 471,503.
Silver per tola dropped by Rs 1,146, now priced at Rs 8,904.
Internationally, gold per ounce declined by $139, reaching $5,272.
