ISLAMABAD: Pakistan military’s operation ‘Ghazab Lil-Haq’ against Afghanistan forces along the border is still underway and over 435 Afghan Taliban fighters have so far been killed, said Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Monday.
Attaullah Tarar released details of the Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq on social media platform X, saying that 188 Taliban regime check posts had been completely destroyed while Pakistan forces took control of 31 additional posts since the latest phase of hostilities between the neighbours began on Thursday.
A total of 188 tanks and armored vehicles were reported destroyed. Effective airstrikes were carried out at 51 locations inside Afghanistan, he posted.

Earlier, security sources said an arms depot belonging to “Fitna al-Khawarij” and the Afghan Taliban had been destroyed in Khost by Pakistani forces.

According to the sources, following what was described as unprovoked aggression along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, heavy pressure had been exerted on the Afghan Taliban and allied militants, who were said to be facing setbacks on multiple fronts.
