The Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has issued a strong and wiped statement following reported precision strikes on terrorist hideouts inside Afghanistan.
The minister declared that “every malicious eye raised toward Pakistan will be eliminated,” underlining that the state would make no compromise on its sovereignty or the protection of its citizens.
The latest escalation follows a terrorist attack in Bannu a day earlier, in which Lieutenant Colonel Gulfaraz and soldier Karamat embraced martyrdom while performing their duties.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that recent suicide attacks—including incidents in Islamabad, Bajaur, and Bannu—were orchestrated by terrorist leadership and facilitators allegedly operating from Afghan territory.
Pakistan Air Force jets carried out carefully planned strikes targeting hideouts associated with “Fitna al-Khawarij” and allied groups.
The ministry further stated that national security imperatives made the action unavoidable after repeated attacks and public claims of responsibility by militant groups based in Afghanistan. “Pakistan will not tolerate terrorism on its soil,” the statement read, adding that every act of aggression would be met with an effective response.
