Islamabad: A staff member of Radio Pakistan has been identified as an active worker of the terrorist organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

According to a private TV channel report, the National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta) and intelligence agencies arrested a suspect named Zafar Iqbal for posting content on social media that supported the Baloch Liberation Army and contained anti-state material.

The suspect was previously employed as a Deputy Messenger (Naib Qasid) at Radio Pakistan Quetta. However, following an internal inquiry, he was dismissed from service.

Despite his dismissal, he continued to publish 13 posts on social media platforms in support of the BLA.

Subsequently, he was taken into custody. With court approval, the digital devices in his possession have also been seized, and investigations are underway into his connections with terrorist organizations.
