WASHINGTON: An American publication has described the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) as a major threat to peace and prosperity in the region.
In its report, The National Interest stated that economic deprivation and backwardness cannot justify terrorism and bloodshed.
The journal described the BLA as a terrorist organization that operates on an agenda of spreading instability, extreme violence, and chaos across the region.
The National Interest also expressed concern that growing instability in Iran could lead to an increase in the BLA’s influence and activities.
