NOSHKI: The latest engagement in the Naushki area, security forces neutralized an additional 25 terrorsts during a focused operation.
The security forces have reported an important progress in ongoing counterterrorism operations across multiple locations, particularly in and around the Naushki district. The operations, which include coordinated search, cordon, and clearance efforts, aim to dismantle militant networks operating in remote, mountainous areas.
In total, reports indicate that up to 145 Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists have been killed during recent operations conducted over several days.
The terrorists were using the rugged mountainous terrain to hide and regroup. In response, security forces launched mopping-up operations to prevent any remaining elements from escaping or reorganizing.
These efforts involve small, intelligence-based operations being carried out simultaneously at different locations to ensure comprehensive area control.
“Cordon and search operations are currently underway in Naushki and its surrounding areas,” an official familiar with the operation said. “The objective is to clear the region of any remaining militant presence and restore complete security.”
Moreover, the security personnel continue to conduct systematic searches in the mountains, supported by ground intelligence and surveillance.
The government and security agencies reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and order, stating that operations will continue until all threats are effectively addressed. Further updates are expected as the search and clearance activities progress.
