PISHIN: Balochistan counterterrorism force killed five militants during a gunfight in the Kali Karbala area of Pishin district of Balochistan on Monday, police said.
Officials said the operation was carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) following intelligence reports about the presence of armed militants in the area.
Among those killed was Sanaullah Agha, along with his two brothers. Authorities said all five militants were wanted in multiple terrorism and sabotage cases.
Police said the exchange of fire left three CTD personnel wounded. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
Security forces recovered a large cache of weapons from the site, including rocket launchers, submachine guns, hand grenades and other arms.

Officials said a clearance and search operation is ongoing in the surrounding area to eliminate any remaining threats.
