ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s IT exports set a new record in December 2025, reaching USD 437 million, the highest monthly total ever.
The figure marks a 23% increase compared to USD 356 million in November 2025. Year-on-year growth stood at 26% from USD 348 million in December 2024.
For the first half of fiscal year 2026, ICT exports reached USD 2.24 billion, up 20% from the same period last year.
The sector remains the largest and most consistent contributor to Pakistan’s services exports. It also generates the country’s largest trade surplus within the services industry.

Analysts say the growth reflects rising global demand for Pakistan’s software, IT services, and business process outsourcing.
