TURBAT: Governor of Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, paid a brief one-day visit to Turbat, during which he inaugurated the newly constructed Senate Hall at the University of Turbat.
Upon his arrival in Turbat, the Governor visited the University of Turbat where he was presented with a guard of honor.
He was warmly received by Vice Chancellor Professor Gul Hassan, Makran Commissioner Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani, Deputy Commissioner Kech Bashir Ahmed Baloch, along with the university administration and faculty members.
The Governor formally inaugurated the newly built Senate Hall at the university. On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Urban Planning Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baloch, Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Durrani, Member of the National Assembly Plain Khan, and Adviser for Fisheries Haji Barkat Rind accompanied him.
Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and the provincial ministers also participated in a tree plantation activity within the university campus.
Additionally, a new bus funded by Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Baloch was handed over to the university administration by the Governor.
The bus will be used for pick-and-drop services for students on the University-to-Balida route.
