Islamabad: The government has announced a significant reduction in petroleum prices in Pakistan.
- Petrol price reduced by Rs 10.28 per litre.
- High-speed diesel (HSD) price reduced by Rs 857 per litre.
- The new petrol price is 257.17 rupees, whereas the new deiesel price is now 257.8 rupees now.
The new prices will take effect from midnight tonight (January 1, 2026).
This is based on the latest reports as of December 31, 2025.
The official notification from the Petroleum Division confirms these reductions following OGRA’s recommendations and Prime Minister’s approval. Current prices (until midnight): Petrol Rs 263.45/litre, Diesel Rs 265.65/litre.
