KARACHI: Former Pakistan wicketkeeper Moin Khan has released a video refuting false rumours about his death.
Moin Khan, one of Pakistan’s most prominent cricketers, played 69 Tests and 219 ODIs for the national team and was part of the 1992 World Cup. He remains popular among cricket lovers and is currently associated with the Quetta Gladiators.
However, a false report about his death surfaced on social media and quickly went viral across various platforms.
In response, Moin Khan posted a video rejecting the rumours and calling out the individual responsible for spreading them. In the video, he said he is perfectly healthy and enjoying life.
In the 25-second clip, recorded while he was driving, he criticised the person who circulated the fake news, saying they acted with “complete irresponsibility.”

He urged his fans to remember him in their prayers but stressed that he is in good health.
“I am perfectly fine, Alhamdulillah,” he said.
