Sadiq Umrani suffers a heart-attack

ISLAMABAD: Provincial Irrigation Minister Mir Sadiq Umrani suffered a heart attack and was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

According to sources from the Pakistan People’s Party, his condition suddenly worsened, prompting urgent hospitalization. For better treatment, the minister was airlifted to Karachi via an air ambulance.

At the hospital, Governor of Balochistan Malik Jaffer Mandokhail, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani also visited Mir Sadiq Umrani to check on his health.

Mir Sadiq Umrani is a prominent Balochistan politician and parliamentarian, currently serving as the Provincial Minister for Irrigation.

He is associated with regional development initiatives and plays a significant role in Balochistan’s provincial politics.

Known for his active involvement in legislative matters, Umrani has been part of efforts to improve infrastructure and public services in the province.

He holds considerable influence in local political circles and has maintained a presence in both governmental and party activities.

His recent health scare, when he suffered a heart attack and was airlifted to Karachi for treatment, brought attention to his standing in the province, with key leaders including the Governor, Chief Minister, and Senate Chairman visiting him in the hospital.
