TURBAT: Government Girls College Turbat hosted a one-day sports festival with support from the welfare organization “Helping Hand.” The event attracted prominent sports personalities, college faculty, and students.
Students competed in football, cricket, tug-of-war, and musical chairs, delivering impressive performances in all events. Their energy and enthusiasm energized the festival atmosphere.
College faculty praised the event, calling it a positive initiative for promoting sports among female students. Students expressed their desire for more such events to showcase their talents. “Every school and college should organize similar events to give students opportunities,” they said.
Special guests and notable sports figures highlighted the role of sports in fostering teamwork, self-confidence, and positive attitudes among youth. They pledged continued support for the promotion of women’s sports.
