QUETTA: The Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), in collaboration with Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), successfully organized a major Job Fair 2025, heralded as a significant step towards a brighter economic future for the province’s youth.
The event, held with Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail as the chief guest, saw massive participation. Over 100 leading national companies set up stalls, offering more than 5,000 job and internship opportunities to thousands of attending students and graduates.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chairman of BBoIT, Bilal Khan Kakar, stated that the provincial government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has launched numerous programs designed to pave the way for the youth’s success. He emphasized that the job fair was more than a formal event, calling it “an announcement of a new economic direction for Balochistan.”
Kakar articulated the government’s commitment to transforming the youth from mere degree holders into the future leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries of the province. He stressed that the core aim is to provide the young people of Balochistan with opportunities on par with those available in other parts of the country.
Highlighting the collaborative effort, Kakar described the partnership between BBoIT and BUITEMS as a “transformative step” crucial for the province’s overall development. The event was also attended by BUITEMS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Pro Vice Chancellor Arbab Mirwais Kasi, Registrar Dr. Ahsan Achakzai, and other senior officials, underscoring the institutional support for the initiative aimed at combating youth unemployment and fostering economic growth in Balochistan.
Meanwhile in a significant move to overhaul its administrative structure, the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan has formally launched an E-Filing and Digital File Tracking System. This initiative is designed to modernize governance, enhance transparency, and ensure secure digital documentation throughout the organization.
