FIA Nabs 14 Attempting to illegally Cross into Iran

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 14 individuals in Jiwani who were attempting to illegally travel to Iran.

QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 14 people in Jiwani who were trying to awfully travel to Iran.

According to details, the FIA Composite Circle Gwadar conducted an operation in Jiwani and arrested 14 people who were trying to enter Iran via sea through illegal way.

Among the arrested individuals, six belong to Punjab province, four of the belongs to district Gujranwala, two from Faisalabad, eight from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP, in which five belongs todistrict Lower Dir, and three to Swabi, Mardan, and Malakand.

The official said that the arrested suspects were attempting to leave Pakistan for Iran through the sea route. Initial investigation revealed that they intended to travel onward to other countries illegally after reaching Iran.

A case has been registered against the suspects. An investigation underway against the human smugglers the man culprits behinds the tariffing business.

Meanwhile the governor of Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail has stated that patients from all districts of Balochistan depend on Quetta for medical treatment, which places immense pressure on the city’s public hospitals.

He expressed regret that despite the passage of more than five decades, Quetta still lacks a major modern hospital.

He added that even today a large number of patients are forced to travel to Karachi for treatment, putting their lives at serious risk, as some patients do not survive the journey.

He stressed that the government must take urgent steps to resolve this long-standing issue and ensure that quality healthcare services are made available within the province.

The Governor expressed these views during his visit to the Kidney Hospital on Samungli Road, followed by an inspection of Dar-ul-Shifa Imam Khomeini in Hazara Town.

On this occasion, Mohammad Karimi Todeshki in Quetta, along with Dr. Liaquat Taban, doctors, and a large number of paramedical staff were also present.

The Governor was briefed on the hospital’s performance and its current operational status.
