QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Thursday praised the active role of women lawmakers during a meeting with a delegation of the Women Parliamentarians Caucus.
As per details, a delegation of Women Parliamentarians Caucus called on Sarfaraz Bugti at the CM house.
During the meeting, Sarfaraz Bugti said the provincial government considers women’s leadership, legislation and development participation a top priority.
During the meeting, the provincial government approved the creation of a special endowment fund for women legislators to strengthen their parliamentary performance and policy contributions.
Bugti assured the delegation that the government would incorporate women lawmakers’ proposals into the provincial budget and upcoming policy plans.

He said the initiative aims to ensure that women continue to play an effective role in the province’s overall development.
