QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan organised 251 free medical camps across the province’s most remote and underdeveloped regions during October 2025, providing essential healthcare to thousands of residents.
The camps were held in areas with limited or no access to medical facilities, including Turbat, Buleda, Mand, Hoshab, Dasht, Kharan, and Dalbandin.
According to FC officials, over 16,145 patients received free medical checkups and medicines from qualified doctors and trained medical staff. Special attention was given to children, elderly patients, and women, while the camps also offered treatment for common and seasonal diseases, preventive healthcare guidance, and awareness sessions.
Local residents praised the initiative, calling it a “vital step toward restoring healthcare access” in neglected areas of Balochistan. They lauded the FC’s continued efforts to improve public welfare through community-oriented programs in the province.
