Seven Khawarij killed, six soldiers martyred in Kurram

RAWALPINDI: Six Khawarij were killed in an encounter with the security forces and six armed forces personnel embraced martyrdom in Kurram area of KP today.

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISRPR), a clash erupted in the District Kurram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between the security forces and the Indian-sponsored militant of Fitna al Khawarij.

Six Khawarij were eliminated by the security forces. Six soldiers of the armed forces, including a captain were martyred during the exchange of firing between the forces and the militants.

An intelligence-based operation was carried out by the armed forces.

The clash took place in the Dogar area of Kurram in KP.

The armed forces personnel targeted the militants successfully.

However, an exchange of firing took place between the militants and the security forces personnel.

Captain Nauman Saleem along with the Jawans Amjad, Shehbaz, Waleed, Waqas and Ejaz were martyred.

According to the ISPR, Captain Nauman Saleem was a medical officer and the brave soldier of the armed forces. The forces have launched a search and clearance operation in the area.

The ISPR said that the area will be cleared from the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij. The ISPR have said that the security forces continue the anti-terrorism campaign with full force.

The security forces vow to completely eliminate the Indian-sponsored militancy from KP.

It is worth mentioning that the Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khawarij have launched several militant-attacks in KP and Balochistan in the past many years.

All such terror groups are funded, trained and backed by India and have their havens and hideouts in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has stressed on Afghanistan to ensure that the militant groups do not use the Afghan soil to launch attacks on the Pakistani territory.

However, no serious measures have been taken by the Afghan government against the Indian-sponsored militants so far.
