Mastung Cop Kills Bandit, Injures Another in Motorcycle Robbery Firefight

MASTUNG:  In a dramatic confrontation in the Kambila locality of Dasht, a Mastung  police constable successfully thwarted an armed motorcycle-snatching attempt on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in one bandit killed and another injured.

The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. when two armed suspects intercepted the Eagle Squad constable – who was returning home after duty – and attempted to seize his motorcycle at gunpoint.

Displaying quick thinking and courage, the constable drew his service pistol and returned fire. During the exchange, one suspect, identified as Muhammad Yousaf, resident of Sariab Custom area in Quetta, was killed instantly. His accomplice, Muhammad Hassan, sustained injuries and was taken into custody.

Both individuals were transported to Shaheed Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in Mastung, where the injured suspect remains under treatment and police guard.

Local authorities have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to determine possible links to other criminal activities in the region.

In a separate incident  Police has killed three robbers in an encounter in Quetta. According to the sources, an exchange of firing has taken place in the Kili Khali area of Quetta.

Three alleged robbers have been killed in that encounter. According to the police officials, three robbers have been killed in an encounter with the police on the Kili Khali area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.

The police team arrived at the Kili Khali area after a report about a robbery crime. The robbers shot at the police team which caused a cross firing between the gang and the police.

The bodies of the killed robbers have been shifted to the hospital. The bodies will be handed over to the families after the identification and other necessary formalities. According to the police, the killed persons were involved in many robbery crimes across Quetta.
