GWADAR: The month-long Gwadar Cricket Tournament 2025 was concluded here on Monday.
About 25 teams from different districts participated in the tournament, which was jointly organised by the Pakistan Army and the Gwadar Cricket Association.
The tournament, which ran from September 27 to October 25, featured 25 teams from across Balochistan, showcasing the region’s emerging cricket talent.
In the thrilling finale, Baloch Cricket Club delivered an outstanding performance and emerged victorious by defeating Ghatti Dhor Cricket Club to claim the tournament title.
At the closing ceremony, the chief guest presented trophies and prizes to the players and winning teams.
Cricket enthusiasts and players participated in large numbers, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the competition. Spectators praised the Pakistan Army’s excellent management and hospitality, highlighting how the event promoted sports and community engagement in Gwadar.
The Gwadar Cricket Tournament 2025 not only celebrated local talent but also strengthened the bond between the community and the armed forces through the spirit of sportsmanship.
It is worth noting that Baloch Cricket Club was also the PCB Inter-District Club Champion 2025.

Official figures show that under DDO Code AO5270, a staggering amount of Rs. 681,678,000 was released, yet no major project, event, or facility is visible on the ground.
