Othal: A speedy troller fell in the ditch after overturning on the Makran Coastal highway causing deaths of three people including a child.
According to the details, a horrifying accident took place on the Makran Coastal highway, where a over speeded troller overturned and fell in a ditch.
The incident caused deaths to three people including a child. A man was severely injured in the accident.
According the resuce 1122’s sources, the troller was traveling from Gwadar to Karachi.
Due to the overspeed, the troller overturned and fell in the ditch alongside the road in the Dultas area on the Makran Coastal highway.
The three people including a child died on the spot. The names of the demised persons are Azeem son of Mudassir, Mohammad Yousaf and a child (with an unknown name). One person, named Syed Malik sustained injuries in the accident.
The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital, whereas Syed Malik, the injured person was shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital.
It is worth mentioning that many such accidents have been occurring on the Balochistan highways and the roads.
One the key reasons of those accident remains the poor infrastructure of the roads that are broken and not repaired.
Another significant cause of those accident is that Balochistan lacks two-way roads which often results as the collision between the vehicles leading to several deaths.
The large goods-vehicles covering vast portions on roads too cause accidents on the Balochistan highways and roads.
The transporters, traders and the passengers have called for a better road infrastructure in Balochistan.
They believe that the massive number of deaths caused by road-accidents can be reduced if the government and the concerning departments launch a quality road infrastructure in Balochistan like other provinces.
