A BLA militant Salam killed in Sarawan city of Iran

TEHRAN: Salam, son of Abdul Hadi, a resident of Bit Teh Buleda in Kech district, was killed in Soran Bazar in the Sarawan area of Iran, security sources confirmed.

According to local intelligence reports, Salam had been hiding in the Sarawan region and was a longtime facilitator for militant activity before formally joining the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

Security officials say Salam played a key role in the BLA’s logistics network.

He was known for  organizing funding and arranging the transportation of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive device (IED) components to BLA fighters.

Sources also say he assisted with cross-border movements and reconnaissance for BLA combatants and provided support — including financial and logistical care — to families of BLA members based in Iran.

The operation that led to his death was carried out in Soran Bazar; authorities are reviewing recovered items and intelligence to confirm the extent of his activities and any local networks involved.

Counterterrorism officials stated that the elimination of a figure involved in arms procurement and border facilitation is likely to disrupt militant supply lines in the short term, but an official assessment will follow.

Local and regional security agencies have been notified and an investigation is underway to verify the circumstances of the operation and to identify any remaining associates.

It is worth mentioning that BLA , along with other Fitna al Hindustan militant groups have been launching attacks on the security forces, innocent civilians as well as the development infrastructure for two decades.

The militants group , backed and funded by the Indian intelligence agency RAW, aims provocation and unrest in Balochistan.

Some thousands of innocent people have been brutally killed by the BLA militants which advocates bloodshed and separatism carrying out a foreign agenda.

However, the security forces of Pakistan, along with the loyal and peace loving tribes of Balochistan are standing firm with their resolve to root out the militancy from Balochistan.

The Balochistan government, tribes and the security forces are on their toes to work for peace, stability and development in Balochistan.
