Quetta: Another road accident on a Balochistan’ s road casues four deaths. According to the details, a road accident occurred to a passengers’ bus caused four deaths and many others sustained serious injuries.
The bus was travelling to Zhob from Quetta. The dead bodies and the injured persons were shifted to the hospital.
The reason of accidents remains unknown as yet. The injured persons are being given the treatment and the bodies are handed over to the family.
It is worth mentioning that the number of accident cases on Balochistan’s road have been massive in the past many decades. Some hundreds of thousands of passengers have lost their lives in those accidents.
One of the key reasons of the occurrence of those accidents is the poor roads infrastructure. Balochistan lacks two-way roads.
Large vehicles passing through those single roads often collide with other vans and cause deadly accidents.
The broken roads with deep ditches often lead the vehicles to overturn, which causes deaths in horrible accidents.
Balochistan, being a border area of Iran and Balochistan is also a hub for cross-border trade.
Heavy trucks, containers and containers make the collisions and the road-accidents more likely particularly on the narrow paths leading to other parts of the country.
The overspeed and overtaking unfortunately causes massive accidents and of course, the loss of human lives.
The passengers, the transporters and the traders have demanded a better road infrastructure on many occasions from the government and the National Highways and the roads department.
Although , the provincial government is working for the development of a quality roads-infrastructure in Balochistan like other parts of the country, however, such development projects may take years before they are launched and the people get a better travelling experience.
