Adil Raja, Ehsanullah Ehsan: RAW's propaganda agents

ISLAMABAD: The recent collaboration between Adil Raja, a self-styled political commentator, and Ehsanullah Ehsan, the former spokesperson of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has raised serious concerns over an orchestrated disinformation campaign aimed at maligning Pakistan.

In this sense, both individuals, long discredited for their roles in spreading false narratives, are reportedly advancing an agenda supported by India’s intelligence agency, RAW.

In this regard, the government officials believe that the duo’s coordinated efforts represent part of a broader strategy to destabilize Pakistan.

Furthermore, Ehsanullah Ehsan, once associated with terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of innocent civilians and children, has re-emerged in Indian media circles.

In addition, his articles have appeared on outlets affiliated with India’s ruling BJP, including The Sunday Guardian.

This rebranding from a militant spokesperson to a so-called “commentator” indicates a deliberate attempt to legitimize his voice and weaponize his past for narrative warfare against Pakistan.

Adil Raja, on the other hand, continues to issue unsubstantiated allegations against the Pakistani state.

Moreover, the experts note that Indian media’s portrayal of Ehsan as a political analyst, while simultaneously ignoring his violent past, mentions a troubling double standard.

So far, the security observers have focused on the fact that both Raja and Ehsan lack credibility and public trust; their actions, they argue, are driven by foreign influence and designed to spread misinformation and discord.

The collaboration between Adil Raja and Ehsanullah Ehsan, according to government personnel, is a clear indication of an organized attempt to manipulate narratives through disinformation.
