Five people died in a clash between a tribe and militants

Kalat:  A violent clash erupted in the Korki area of Mangochar, Khaliqabad, on Wednesday between members of the Shakir Saadullah Langov tribe and suspected former BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army) militants.

According to initial reports, the exchange of fire resulted in the deaths of four BLA militants and one member of the Shakir Langov tribe, while two others sustained injuries.

The deceased tribal member has been identified as Balach Khan, son of Saadullah, of the Langov tribe.

The injured were named as Nasrullah, son of Muhammad Hashim, from the Langov tribe, and Allah Dad, son of Sher Muhammad, from the Samalani tribe.

The bodies and injured individuals were first shifted to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Mande Haji before being referred to Quetta for advanced treatment.

The bodies of the deceased BLA militants are reported to still be lying at the incident site.

Balochistan has long witnessed violent confrontations between tribal groups, security forces, and insurgent organisations such as the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

The BLA, proscribed as a terrorist outfit by Pakistan and several international bodies, has carried out attacks targeting security forces, infrastructure, and civilians in the region.

In recent years, Pakistani security forces have intensified operations in Balochistan to dismantle militant networks and restore law and order.

These operations have led to the killing or arrest of several BLA commanders and operatives.

It is worth mentioning that the tribes and the patriotic people are also standing firmly with their armed forces in order to counter the militants.

The people of Balochistan slam the Indian-funded militants for selling their lives and souls to the enemy for the sake of ordinary gains.

They affirm their resolve that they will never allow any foreign -funded agenda on their soil and will always remain loyal to their country.
