ISLAMABAD: The front of the so-called fidayeen fighters of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is crumbling as accounts from within Baloch families expose the grim reality behind the group’s operations.
In this regard, the testimonies from families of those lured into terrorism, young men have been systematically trapped through drugs, stripped of dignity, and turned into tools for violent campaigns.
The narrative of “martyrdom” often circulated by militant propaganda hides a darker truth: these youths are drugged, coerced, and in many cases sent on suicide missions without understanding the consequences.
Furthermore, the Investigations and local sources suggest that BLA camps, often depicted as training grounds, function more like drug dens where vulnerable youth are fed substances to keep them under control.
In addition, the pattern of exploitation undermines the BLA’s claims of fighting for honor or justice. The communities across Balochistan have increasingly voiced their rejection of militancy, noting that burning homes, targeting local people, and burying the province’s youth under foreign orders cannot be equated with dignity.
