ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the local education council was held at Government Girls High School Tamp under the chair of Headmistress Shari Baloch.
The session focused on creating a detailed action plan to enhance both the academic standards and administrative affairs of the school.
The PTSMC chairman, teachers, and other key stakeholders participated actively, holding in-depth discussions on ways to improve the school’s overall performance.
During the meeting, participants stressed identifying the causes of student absenteeism and implementing measures to address them.
It was agreed to form a staff committee for this purpose.

Instructions were also given to launch a tree-planting drive and to display curriculum outlines and class timetables in every classroom.
The headmistress emphasized refining teaching methods, ensuring regular teacher attendance, providing essential facilities, and giving special attention to practical demonstrations in science education.
Education experts recommend several steps to uplift schools across Balochistan.
These include improving teacher training programs, ensuring consistent teacher attendance, upgrading school infrastructure such as classrooms, laboratories, and sanitation facilities, and increasing budget allocations for essential resources.
