Major tragedy averted: Security forces thwart Fitna Al Hindustan’s bus attack plan

Terrorist network neutralised in Balochistan Dasht Area

DASHT, BALOCHISTAN: A major terrorist attack targeting passenger buses was successfully foiled by security forces in the Dasht area on Tuesday.

According to security sources, terrorists from the ‘Fitna Al Hindustan’  Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) had planned to set up roadblocks on the M-8 highway, stop buses, and then identify and target the passengers.

Their plan was uncovered when they were spotted by security forces’ surveillance cameras while they were just beginning to set up the roadblock. Their every move was recorded and monitored.

A Quick Response Force was immediately dispatched to the location. A fierce firefight broke out near the Kanchati Cross, lasting several minutes. The security forces overpowered the terrorists, thwarting their plan.

Two terrorists were killed in the operation. One of them was identified as Atiq Miran, a key commander of the BLF. Security forces also recovered communication systems, maps, and other sensitive materials from the spot, dealing a significant blow to the terrorist network.  Security officials stated that this timely and courageous action saved countless innocent lives.
