It is worth mentioning that over one lac candidates appeared in the exam, and 90 thousand succeeded making the overall result to go down as 90 percent.

The Balochistan students have unveiled their exquisite talent not in the field of education but they have also expressed tremendous success in the field of IT, computer sciences, speeches, debate, arts, literature and other areas of creativity and innovation.

Higher education in Balochistan is witnessing steady growth as the provincial government accelerates efforts to expand colleges and universities across the region.

According to recent education department data, more than 25 new colleges and six universities have been established in recent years, creating opportunities for thousands of students from remote districts.

Cadet colleges located in Sui, Pishin, Mastung, Panjgur, Jafarabad, Kohlu, Turbat, Nushki, Ormara and Awaran now accommodate over 3,000 students, reflecting a surge in demand for quality education.

The University of Turbat alone has enrolled around 3,400 students, while Makran Medical College hosts about 500 MBBS students.

Officials note that established institutions in Quetta, including Government Science College, Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s College and Degree College Quetta Cantt, continue to draw large numbers of students each year.

Collectively, public colleges across Balochistan are estimated to serve well over 120,000 students at intermediate and undergraduate levels, with private colleges adding thousands more. Education authorities say the ongoing expansion aims to ensure that young people from all districts—particularly rural areas—gain access to affordable higher education and improved facilities.
