ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is observing the 77th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah — the Father of the Nation — today (Thursday) with deep respect and reverence.
The day began with special prayers in mosques, where people prayed for the eternal peace of his soul and for the country’s stability, peace, and prosperity.
Through his vision and determination, Muhammad Ali Jinnah united Muslims of the subcontinent under the All-India Muslim League and led them toward the creation of Pakistan. His golden principles of unity, faith, and discipline continue to guide the nation.
Jinnah passed away on September 11, 1948, just over a year after Pakistan’s independence.
