Indian media claims Modi regime is on the verge of collapse after Nepal

Indian television anchor Arnab Goswami has made a series of explosive and unverified claims, alleging that US-based technology companies were behind the recent fall of the government in Nepal.

On his show, Goswami claimed that the protests which led to the political change in Nepal were not organic but were planned and executed by major tech firms, specifically naming Meta (parent company of Facebook and Instagram) and X (formerly Twitter). His allegation is based on the premise that the former Nepali government had asked these companies to comply with local laws, which he claims the firms resisted.

Goswami then connected this event to a larger, alleged conspiracy against India. He stated that the event in Nepal was a “warning message” from what he called the “US deep state” to India, suggesting it was orchestrated to show the power these companies wield in destabilizing a government.

Furthermore, while briefly mentioning protests in the Indian state of Bihar, Goswami claimed that “something big is being cooked” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. He concluded by asserting that the Modi administration is now “in hot water” as a result of these alleged foreign plots.
