AC Chaman visits flour warehouses, stresses government rates

QUETTA: Assistant Commissioner City Chaman, Azizullah Kakar, conducted surprise visits to various flour warehouses in Chaman city.

During the inspection, he strictly instructed warehouse owners that stern action would be taken against those involved in hoarding and overpricing.

He emphasized that flour must be provided to the public at government-fixed rates.

Warning the store owners, he stated that no leniency or compromise would be shown towards those indulging in hoarding, profiteering, or unfair practices.

He further added that ensuring the availability of essential commodities to citizens is the government’s top priority.

On this occasion, the Assistant Commissioner personally ensured the supply of flour to the public at official prices.

The public widely appreciated this initiative, noting that such measures not only help curb inflation but also prevent the creation of artificial shortages.

Citizens expressed hope that the administration would continue taking similar actions in the future to provide relief to the people.
