BANNU: Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Mami Tan Khel area of Baka Khel. The operation was launched after credible intelligence about the presence of militants in the area. During the exchange of fire, four terrorists were eliminated. Two of them were later identified as Abu Bakar and Shakir, both associated with the banned Gul Bahadur group.
In this sense, the outlawed outfit has also confirmed the deaths of its members. The operation was described as part of the ongoing efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. Furthermore, the development comes at a time when security forces have intensified operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adjoining tribal districts to counter rising militant activities.

The bodies of the deceased militants were shifted for identification and further investigation, while a search operation in the surrounding areas was also conducted to eliminate any remaining threats.
