Empower girls' education: Balochistan's renovated Taftan school unveiled

CHAGAI: The Balochistan government’s ambition to empower education and improve learning facilities, Deputy Commissioner Chagai, Atta-ul-Muneem, has managed the promise he made during a recent open court (khuli kachehri) by ensuring the renovation of Taftan Girls School and the provision of new furniture for students.

In this sense, the initiative, carried out under the district administration’s supervision, in order to restore the school’s infrastructure and create a more conducive environment for academic activities. 

Deputy Commissioner Atta-ul-Muneem focused on that education remains a top priority for the provincial government and district administration. He said the rehabilitation of the girls’ school indicates the government’s commitment to addressing the genuine concerns raised by citizens during public forums. 

In this regard, the local residents and parents welcomed the timely action, stating that the renovated school would not only increase the overall learning atmosphere but also encourage greater enrollment of girls in the area. 

Furthermore, teachers of the institution also appreciated the efforts, mentioning that the availability of proper furniture and a well-maintained school building will enable them to conduct lessons more effectively. 

Moreover, education officials observed that improving school facilities contributes to better retention rates and academic performance among students.

The Balochistan government has reasserted its resolve to continue similar projects across the province, ensuring that schools are provided with adequate infrastructure, resources, and teaching support.
