ISAMABAD: Federal Ministry of Interior on Tuesday has announced the recruitment of 3,229 male and female constables in the Federal Constabulary.
According to details, those who are willing to join Federal Constabulary must be up to 22 years old and have at least an intermediate-level education.
A quota of 20% each has been set for all provinces, 10% for Azad Kashmir, 6% for Gilgit-Baltistan, and 4% for Islamabad.
Last month in July, the federal government has decided to restructure and expand the Frontier Constabulary (FC) into a countrywide federal force.
The transformation of the provincial force into a centralized law enforcement entity named the “Federal Constabulary.” The decision follows the federal cabinet’s approval of key amendments to the century-old legislation.
The new setup also includes nationwide recruitment drives, aimed at building a diverse and inclusive force. The initiative is part of broader efforts by the federal government to centralize and streamline security operations across the country, amid evolving security threats and increasing demands for coordinated law enforcement responses.
