ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for eliminating 33 Khawarij terrorists backed by India during a successful counter-terrorism operation in the Zhob district, on Friday.
In a statement issued by the Presidency, President Zardari praised the courage and timely action of the armed forces in defending the nation’s borders. President further said that the entire nation is proud of its valiant forces who foiled the malicious designs of the enemy.
Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces for successfully thwarting an infiltration attempt by Khawarij terrorists at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Zhob district
In a statement, PM Shehbaz has praised the operation in which 33 militants were eliminated, calling it a remarkable success in the nation’s ongoing fight against terrorism.

President Zardari and PM Shehbaz condemned the cross-border terrorism allegedly orchestrated with Indian support, adding that Pakistan is committed to eradicating terrorism sponsored from across the border, Pakistan will dismantle every network of terrorism backed by India.
