23 Fitna al Hindustan Terrorists Killed in Panjgur Operation

QUETTA: Local authorities and security forces said Monday that at least 23 terrorists associated with the Indian proxy—Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA)—were killed during an operation in the Panjgur district of Balochistan over the past few days.

The security forces, acting on a tip-off about the presence of Fitna al Hindustan terrorists in the area, launched an operation in Panjgur district, located approximately 555 kilometers southwest of Quetta.

In the latest report, three more terrorists were killed, bringing the total number of Fitna al Hindustan militants killed since Friday to 23.

According to security sources, the confrontation occurred on the night of August 1 when troops of the 91 Wing, acting on timely intelligence, engaged members of Fitna al Hindustan in the remote border region. FC personnel had been placed on high alert following intelligence reports about militant movement in the area.

Security forces said the operations will continue until peace is restored and all terrorists are eliminated. Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the threat of terrorism from the country, the statement added.

Two security personnel were also martyred during the operation.
