QUETTA: Another mega corruption scandal has been uncovered in Balochistan’s Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), revealing serious financial irregularities totaling Rs 2.38 billion over the past five years.
According to reports, the EPI Balochistan has paid Rs 1.66 billion to the federal directorate for the purchase of vaccines and medical toolkits, but, no official records or proof of this payment exist in the files.
Similarly, Rs 177 million were reportedly spent during the COVID-19 pandemic under the name of “training sessions,” raising further suspicion about the misuse of public funds.

The revelations have sparked outrage among the public, with many calling for those responsible to be held accountable and for the stolen national funds to be recovered immediately.
