QUETTA: District Health Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Captain ® Meharullah Badini. The session was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar, District Health Officer (DHQ) Quetta, Deputy DHO, District Surveillance Officer, Medical Superintendent of Mufti Mehmood Hospital, and other relevant officials.
The meeting reviewed the monthly performance report of the health sector in the district, focusing on the condition of medical facilities, the delivery of healthcare services, and attendance of health staff.
In this sense, Deputy Commissioner Meharullah Badini expressed serious concern over the frequent absenteeism among health staff. He focused on the fact that there will be zero tolerance for those who consistently neglect their duties, stating. The Deputy Commissioner reasserted the government’s commitment to ensuring quality healthcare services for the public.
He further instructed the health department to strengthen monitoring mechanisms at all health units and ensure that medical staff adhere to their duty schedules. Additionally, he stressed the importance of transparency and accountability in public health services and urged all officers to play their role in improving the system.

The District Health Officer assured that all necessary measures would be taken to implement the directives of the Deputy Commissioner and improve staff attendance and service delivery in all health facilities of Quetta.
