Balochistan launches Rs16 billion Danish schools drive to transform education

QUETTA:  The Balochistan’s government has allocated a substantial portion of its 2025-2026 provincial budget to education, inaugurating four state-of-the-art Danish Schools aimed at reconstructing the academic landscape of the province.

In addition, with an investment of Rs. 16 billion, this initiative stands as a monumental response to decades of deprivation, illiteracy, and extremist propaganda that once plagued the region.

Furthermore, the newly built Danish Schools are not just educational institutions; they symbolize a powerful counter-narrative to separatist ideologies and foreign disinformation campaigns, particularly the “Fitna-e-Hindustan” narrative aimed at dividing the hearts and minds of Baloch youth.

These institutions, equipped with modern facilities, trained faculty, and a focus on character-building, aim to empower the youth with the pen not the gun.

In such a scenario, each of the four Danish Schools, located in remote and underserved areas, will provide free quality education, boarding, and healthcare services to deserving students, particularly orphans and children from low-income families.

The positive impact of these institutions is already being felt, with local communities expressing renewed hope and trust in state institutions. This education-first approach in Balochistan is not just a policy shift; it’s a revolution with chalk and books. The message is clear: Balochistan is rising, and it is rising with Pakistan.
