Authorities issue notice to Maulvi Salahuddin Ayubi in citizenship case

CHAMAN: Leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) and former National Assembly member, Maulvi Salahuddin Ayubi, has been asked to provide documentary evidence of his Pakistani citizenship.

According to details, Assistant Commissioner Chaman has issued notice to provide evidence regarding Ayubi’s nationality, the allegations surfaced suggesting he may hold Afghan citizenship and is allegedly residing in Pakistan without proper documentation.

The notice directs Maulvi Ayubi to appear in person on June 19, 2025, and present valid proof of his Pakistani nationality. Failure to submit the required documents may lead to legal proceedings under immigration laws, including possible deportation.
