DALBANDIN: The District Education Group (DEG) was convened in Dalbandin under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Chaghi, Atta ul Munim. The session, attended by key stakeholders from the education sector and district administration, focused on revamping the state of education across the district and reviewed progress on multiple ongoing initiatives.
During the meeting, participants discussed the strides made in improving education infrastructure and access. In this sense, through a joint effort by the district administration and the education department, several previously closed schools across the region have been successfully reopened, allowing students to return to their classrooms and resume learning.
Furthermore, the reopening of schools marks a major milestone for a district that has long grappled with educational challenges due to infrastructure decay, teacher absenteeism, and lack of basic facilities.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Atta ul Munim praised the efforts of the district education team and emphasized the importance of continuing this momentum.
In addition to reopening schools, several education facilities have been renovated and repainted, creating a more welcoming and conducive learning environment.

However, participants in the meeting agreed on the importance of regular monitoring, community involvement, and teacher accountability to sustain these improvements. The district education officer also shared plans for upcoming teacher training programs and the inclusion of technology-based learning in selected schools.
